The latest One-Punch Man chapter has pushed things to an interesting new level with the teasing of a full rematch between Saitama and Genos.

The series has been making its way through the beginning steps of a big new arc while a new hero association is being created on the sidelines! The Hero Association has been attempting to rebuild its roster after the events of the battle against the Monster Association caused significant changes to the status quo. However, as we have seen in the chapters thus far, there has been some difficulty in this area.

Genos was one of the higher-ranking members of the Hero Association who this new bunch of heroes had been asking to join the group, as One-Punch Man had previously teased. The young hero has been going through a crisis because, despite having learned from Saitama through the events of the series so far, he still feels like he isn’t becoming stronger, and this new gang has him considering joining. His desire for a rematch with Saitama results from this, but it ends shortly because of Genos’ sense of self-satisfaction.

As soon as it was revealed that Genos had become stronger than ever before as a result of his recent enhancements, One-Punch Man Chapter 184 picks up. Genos then decides to challenge Saitama to a new sparring bout in order to put his newfound strength to the test. Saitama responds by closing his eyes when Genos’ new improvements are revealed to have made him physically brighter than before. Despite being the one who wants the rematch, Genos notices this and holds back on throwing his fist. Genos is even more self-conscious about his perceived weakness by Saitama’s inability to reply.

Genos then reveals that this new gang is dubbed Neo Heroes, who have been growing in strength in the background with a roster of heroes who have not yet made themselves public. Genos is forced to admit this after experiencing a crisis of faith. High ranked heroes in the Hero Association have been approached, but Genos is still unsure if he is strong enough to face the cyborg who set him on his path to vengeance.
