After all of the mayhem from the battle against the Monster Association, One-Punch Man has been preparing for a brand-new arc, and the latest chapter of the manga has made a significant step towards this new period with the tease of a brand-new Hero Association being founded.

It appears that some heroes are taking a different path as a result of One-Punch Man’s recent focus on establishing Saitama and the other heroes’ new status quo in the wake of all the Monster Association Saga upheaval.

One-Punch Man’s Hero Association suffered some severe setbacks during the battle with the monsters, and the general public has taken note of this as the Hero Association works to rebuild its ranks in case other monster attacks of this nature occur in the future. It’s obvious that the wealthy contributors have the biggest stake in restoring the Hero Association to its previous power, but a number of new and young heroes have been quietly advancing their own agenda.

In One-Punch Manga’s most recent chapter which is the 182th one, the Hero Association employs novel strategies in an effort to enlist strong, youthful heroes, including exploiting recent injuries to Tatsumaki as a hook. Axel, a young vigilante, saw one of these recruiters coming toward him, and an important tidbit was revealed about another hero group emerging in its place. This new generation of heroes won’t fall for the same recruiting ploys because they are aware that the Hero Association is primarily focused on defending the wealthy.

A new Hero Association is starting to grow, and Axel teases that they have even secretly approached some of the S-Class heroes. They reject the conventional wisdom, and what’s even more intriguing is that One-Punch Man chapter 182’s concluding scenes indicate that Genos was among the heroes who were asked about this as well.
