: The Manga Companion Series, the manga adaptation of Aneko Yusagi’s spin-off of The Rising of the Shield Hero series.

Short synopsis: “The second volume picks up where the first left off, continuing the story of Motoyasuโs adventure to reunite with Filo. He brings Naofumi and Eclair along with him, picking up several new filolials on the way. Motoyasu begins to raise and train Sakura, Yuki, and Kou โ the three young filolials and helps Naofumi grow stronger, so they might be able to fight back against the assassin’s hounding them at every step on their way to Siltvelt.
The Rising of the Shield Hero is a Japanese light novel arrangement composed by Aneko Yusagi. Initially distributed as a web novel in the client created novel webpage Shลsetsuka ni Narล, the arrangement has since been distributed by Media Factory with an extended story-line including outlines by Seira Minami. As of June 25, 2019, twenty-two volumes have been distributed.
The epic arrangement was adjusted into aย mangaย arrangement by Aiya Kyลซ and both theย novelย andย mangaย arrangement wasย authorizedย byย One Peace Booksย and were distributed inย North America beginning in September 2015. Theย 25-episode anime TV series was created byย Kinemaย Citrus and itย aired from January to June 2019. Theย animeย series wasย authorizedย inย North Americaย by theย Crunchyroll and Funimationย association.
