The NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a anime‘s official website announced that the series has delayed episode 9 and the following ones due to COVID-19.
The impact of the rise in COVID-19 infections on the anime’s production timetable was mentioned by the production committee. The broadcast and streaming schedules for episodes 9 and up will be announced soon on the anime’s website and Twitter account.
