Sakura Wars anime‘s official website revealed that the anime which is based on the cross-genre video game is listed with 12 episodes
The new Sakura Wars anime debuted April 3 on Tokyo MX.
Anime’s cast members include:

- Ayaka Fukuhara (Anastasia)
- Saori Hayami (Claris)
- Nana Mizuki (Elise)

Anime‘s staff include:
- Manabu Ono as the Director
- Tatsuhiko Urahata as the Script Supervisor
- Kōhei Tanaka as the Composer
The story follows Taisho Year 30 (1941). Peaceful days have returned to the Imperial capital Tokyo.
Imperial Combat Revue: Floral Division captain Seijuurou Kamiyama was transferred to Europe, and Sakura Amamiya was appointed acting captain. Kamiyama temporarily returns home to a Floral Division making a strenuous effort each day, but with an unknown girl beside him. Her name is Clara. And she is the sole survivor of the Moscow Combat Revue, which was destroyed in a major accident. Sakura and company welcome Clara, who was entrusted by Kamiyama and reassigned to the Floral Division.
