The first phase of the Boruto: Naruto Nex Generations anime‘s run is about to come to a conclusion, and the most recent episode, which adapts the Code Invasion Arc’s climax from the Boruto manga, has given Kawaki his greatest power back in a massive new battle against Boruto Uzumaki.
When Boruto and Kawaki face up against Code’s White Karma abilities, the Code Invasion storyline has reached its conclusion. But, it didn’t take long for Momoshiki Otsutsuki to exploit the confusion and fully seize control of Boruto’s body.
Naruto and Shikamaru arrive at the scene as Kawaki is targeted in the series, where Momoshiki used Boruto’s body to inflict even more harm on Code. Nevertheless, when Momoshiki’s powerful Rasengan threatens to kill Naruto as well, Kawaki is compelled to intervene and look deeply within himself until he discovers that Amado had left a fresh Karma mark inside him the last time he had played around with Kawaki’s body.

The series just showed how Momoshiki nearly kills Naruto in anime episode 292 by using Boruto’s body, but Kawaki at that moment is filled with emotion. He recalls how Amado had provided him with a means of compensating for his lack of strength, and when combined with his current predicament, this enables him to activate a fresh Karma mark that Amado had inscribed on his body. Instead of being a potential conduit for the Otsutsuki like Kawaki was the previous time, this one is just pure power.
The new Karma that Code activates when Naruto is on the verge of death because to the modifications Amado made to it before implanting it in Kawaki’s body grants him Isshiki’s skills. In addition to making Kawaki more deadly because he and Boruto are the only ones who can actually stop the looming Otsutsuki menace within them both, this raises him to a level where he can battle Momoshiki.
