The tragical news was officially announced on Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine that she died on Friday early in the morning, August 2nd due to her worsening health conditions.
Morinaga was born in Okayama Prefecture on April 28th, 1981. She made her expert introduction with “11-nenme no Megami” in 1993. She also serialized her unique manga arrangement Yamada Taro Monogatari, Your and My Secret, My Heavenly Hockey Club, Duck Prince, The Gorgeous Life of Strawberry Chan, and The Super Cool Life of Strawberry Chan.
