The Spring 2023 anime season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with a slate of highly anticipated new shows set to debut. From action-packed adventures to heartwarming romances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Here are some of the anime series that are most anticipated as a part of Spring 2023 anime season.
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku
Another MAPPA production, Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku anime tells the tale of Gabimaru, the Hollow, who is supposed to be executed but nothing seems to be able to kill him because of his superhuman body. Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, the executioner, offers him the chance to have the Shogunate absolve him of all charges since he thinks his love for his wife is unconsciously keeping him alive.

Demon Slayer Season 3 (Swordsmith Village Arc)
Although its first season completely altered the anime scene, Demon Slayer managed to transcend itself with the Entertainment District Arc and capitalized on that success with its premiere feature film. Tanjiro Kamado will soon have to battle demons that are much more powerful than previously, and this is just the beginning. Even if you thought your meetings with Daki and Gyutaro were wonderful, you still have to fight the other Top Ranks.
The Swordsmith Village arc introduces some of the other characters we’ve been hoping to see more of since the first season, such as the Love Hashira, played by Mitsuri Kanroji, and the Mist Hashira, played by Muichiro Tokito, along with the other members of this formidable gang.

Dr. Stone Season 3 (Dr. Stone: New World)
Dr. Stone season 3—officially known as Dr. Stone: New World—takes place immediately after the events of Dr. Stone: Ryusui, which will continue the Source of the Petrification Saga.

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! adopts the official spin-off series that expands on the magical academy from her hometown location that moviegoers were first introduced to in Crimson Legend. It takes place before the main series’ events and focuses on the explosion magic enthusiast before she joined Kazuma Sato’s group.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2
The orphaned high school student Chise Hatori is the main character of the Ancient Magus’ Bride anime. After being abandoned by both her family and society, Chise Hatori decides to sell herself at an auction in order for someone else to take her in and give her a new place to call home. At the London auction, she is bought for five million pounds by Elias Ainsworth, a seven-foot-tall humanoid with an animal skull for a head. She is either guided to the light she so desperately seeks in Great Britain by the magus who more closely resembles a demon than a person, or she is engulfed in darkness that only gets worse. The show magically and fantastically depicts a slice-of-life relationship.

Edens Zero Season 2
One of the captivating tales by Hiro Mashima, which debuted from April to October 2021, is Edens Zero. With the first season’s conclusion and the announcement that a second would follow, the series stoked interest in anime among fans.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles
Mash Burnedead is a young man without even a trace of magic in him. He lives in a magical world where one’s standing in society is determined by one’s ability to use magic. Mash will need to become a Divine Visionary, a title awarded only to extraordinary pupils from the Easton Magic Academy, in order to live in harmony with his adopted father, Regro. Mash enrolls in the magic school despite having no magic at all because he is determined to live and prove to the rest of the world that strength can defeat magic.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Season 2
Set on a time when many businesses have ventured into space and established a vast economic structure. A single student transfers from the remote planet Mercury to the Asticassia School of Technology, which is run by the Beneritt Group, the leader in the mobile suit market. Suletta Mercury is her name. This girl enters a new world gradually by step, a scarlet flame burning in her pure heart.
