The Japaese film, production company, distribution company TOHO unveiled a teaser trailer on Sunday for Makoto Shinkai’s first new anime movie in quite a while, Suzume no Tojimari “Suzume’s Door-Locking”.
The upcoming movie will premiere in Japan on November 11.
The anime movie’s staff includes:
- Makoto Shinkai as the director and screenplay writer
- Masayoshi Tanaka as the character designer
- Kenichi Tsuchiya as the animation director
- Takumi Tanji as the art director
- CoMix Wave Films and Story Inc. are producing the movie
- TOHO as the distributor
Your Name, the Japanese romantic/fantasy anime movie debuted on August 26, 2016, and it managed to sell tickets worth US$380.15 million.
Weathering With You romantic/fantasy anime movie opened on July 19, 2019 in Japan and managed to sell tickets worth US$ 193.65 million.
