Major 2nd anime‘s official Twitter account announced that the season 2 anime‘s fifth episode will air on May 30.
Staff of the anime had uncovered on April 25 after the fourth episode that new episodes would be postponed, as the staff have suspended creation of the anime due to the CoronaVirus pandemic.
NHK Educational rebroadcast the anime‘s initial four episodes beginning on May 2.
Major 2nd season 2 anime‘s first episode debuted on April 4 on NHK Educational.
- Ayane Sakura is performing for Tao Sagara who is an agile shortstop who boasts impressive fielding
- Maki Kawase is performing for Yayoi Sawa who is a second baseman who makes a strong middle-infield combination with Tao
- Daiki Yamashita joins the cast as the cocksure rookie Akira Nishina, joining returning cast members Natsumi Fujiwara and Kana Hanazawa.
Ayumu Watanabe is directing the Major 2nd‘s second season anime at studio OLM, with returning author Michihiro Tsuchiya responsible for arrangement contents. Tsuchiya is likewise writing the contents close by returning authors Kenichi Yamashita and Kenji Konuta, with Akiko Inoue joining the scriptwriting group. Miki Matsumoto is the new character architect, supplanting Kenichi Ohnuki. Toshiki Kameyama is the sound executive. Kotaro Nakagawa returns as arranger for the music.

Major 2nd is a Japanese sports manga arrangement composed and showed by Takuya Mitsuda. It is a continuation of the first manga Major. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from March 2015.
Major 2nd anime’s first season debuted from April to September 2018 on NHK Educational TV.
Crunchyroll gushed the first season of the anime arrangement as it broadcast in Japan, and it portrays the story:
”Shigeno Daigo is an elementary school student whose father, Goro, is a professional baseball player. Inspired by his father, who was once a Major League player, Daigo started playing baseball with the Mifune Dolphins, a youth league team. He was unable to live up to the expectations of being the son of a professional, however, and quit baseball after less than a year. Then, in the spring of his sixth-grade year, Daigo’s school welcomes a transfer student who’s just returned from America. The transfer student is Sato Hikaru, and it turns out his father is Sato Toshiya, a former Major League player and Goro’s close friend. The fate of these two young men begins to move forward!”
