Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul Film

The official site for Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul, the new anime film in the establishment, released the official trailer on Wednesday.

The Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul anime film will open in Japan on January 17.

Sentai Filmworks authorized the film, and it portrays the story:

“Dawn of the Deep Soul continues the epic adventure of plucky Riko and Reg who are joined by their new friend Nanachi. Together they descend into the Abyss’ treacherous fifth layer, the Sea of Corpses, and encounter the mysterious Bondrewd, a legendary White Whistle whose shadow looms over Nanachi’s troubled past. Bondrewd is ingratiatingly hospitable, but the brave adventurers know things are not always as they seem in the enigmatic Abyss…”


Made in Abyss is a Japanese manga arrangement by Akihito Tsukushi and distributed by Takeshobo. It has been serialized online in Takeshobo’s advanced production Web Comic Gamma since 2012 and has been gathered into seven tankōbon volumes. An anime TV arrangement adjustment by Kinema Citrus broadcast its first season from July 7 to September 29, 2017, and a continuation film will debut on January 17, 2020.

The story pursues a stranded little youngster, Riko, who finds and gets to know a humanoid robot Reg and slides with it into the main “Chasm”, that leads profound into the Earth, in order to find her mom.
