Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! anime‘s official website has unveiled the brand new trailer for the upcoming anime.

The new trailer uncovers the anime’s April 2023 release date.

The anime also uncovers new cast members:

The anime’s third season will be produced by animation studio Drive.

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! is a Japanese light novel series composed by Natsume Akatsuki.

The series follows Kazuma Satō, a kid who is shipped off a dreamland with MMORPG components following his demise, where he shapes a useless adventuring party with a goddess, an archwizard, and a crusader. Initially serialized as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō between December 2012 and October 2013, KonoSuba was distributed as a printed light novel series by Kadokawa Shoten under the organization’s Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko engrave from October 2013 to May 2020. The light novel series includes a unique plot and outlines by Kurone Mishima.

A manga, represented by Masahito Watari and Joseph Yokobori, started serialization in Fujimi Shobo’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine from October 2014. A radio show CD was delivered by HobiRecords in March 2015, and an anime TV by Studio Deen circulated in Japan among January and March 2016. The anime’s second season circulated among January and March 2017. A side project light novel series, KonoSuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World!, started distribution from July 2014. Both the light books and the manga are authorized in North America by Yen Press. An anime film variation by J.C.Staff named KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson debuted on August 30, 2019.
