The Culling Game arc’s crazy conclusion is currently being played out in Jujutsu Kaisen, and the series’ most recent chapter’s cliffhanger has just made it significantly more difficult to rescue Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm.

Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori had two key goals in mind while they prepared to fully participate in the Culling Game. The first goal was earning enough points to save Megumi’s sister Tsumiki, and the second involved locating the Angel Cursed Spirit and persuading them to utilize their strength to unlock the Prison Realm so that Gojo could be set free.

The second of these tasks was promptly completed by Megumi and Yuji when they saw Hana Kurusu, whose agreement with Angel gave her the authority to release the seal on Gojo’s Prison Realm. Yet because she is in risk of being slain by Sukuna in the series’ most recent chapter, it will be extremely tougher to ultimately save Gojo if they can’t prevent her from falling victim to the Cursed Spirit.

Hana tries to liberate Megumi from Sukuna’s grip in the closing scenes of chapter 213 of the manga, but he ends up tricking her into getting close by taking advantage of her frenzied emotional condition. Hana has a strong love for Megumi, and at the end of the chapter, she hugged Sukuna in the mistaken belief that she was rescuing Megumi. But, there’s little likelihood that someone will intervene fast as Sukuna gets ready to kill her. The only way to save Gojo is gone if Hana perishes.

Hana was the simplest method to assist him, yet there is still a way to open the Prison Realm. As a result, Hana’s passing causes Megumi and the others a great deal of pain and will further hinder their efforts to bring Gojo back to the center of the action.
