The Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen has reached its conclusion, and the manga’s most recent chapter which is the 222nd one’s concluding scenes perfectly set the stage for Satoru Gojo and Sukuna’s titanic showdown.

For the series’ protagonist Yuji and the others, the Culling Game arc has been a series of devastating defeats as they discovered that, despite all of the points they had gained through their battles, they had not been able to save Megumi Fushiguro’s sister Tsumiki. Sukuna then made matters worse by seizing the chance to surprise everyone and wrest control of Megumi’s body away.

However, things improved when Hana Kurusu and Angel were able to ultimately free Gojo from the constraints of the Prison Realm. Gojo was then able to quickly adapt to the new surroundings. The previous Jujutsu Kaisen chapter hinted that Gojo would wait until a later date to make his move, but the Jujutsu Kaisen manga isn’t wasting any time as Gojo and Sukuna are preparing for their last-ever face-off as the most recent Jujutsu Kaisen chapter comes to a close.

19 days have passed since Gojo’s initial escape from the Prison Realm as Jujutsu Kaisen manga’s chapter 222 begins up, and Sukuna has been fed all but one of his Cursed Fingers. Even secret gambling dens are accepting bets on the fight between Gojo and Sukuna since it has grown to be such a big affair. Gojo is preparing for the decisive battle, although he doesn’t seem quite like himself.

They were unsure of how to respond because Gojo had previously won all of his battles with ease. But because this fight is unique, there is an obvious sense of tension about Gojo. There is more at stake here than just a potential win or loss because it is Gojo’s toughest opponent to date, contained within Megumi’s body. But Gojo and Sukuna are preparing to put matters to rest as Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 222 draws to a conclusion.

Jujutsu Kaisen season anime’s opening theme “Ao no Sumika” (Blue House) is performed by Tatsuya Kitani, ending theme “Akari” (Lantern) is performed by Soushi Sakiyama. 

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 anime will premiere on July 6, 2023. Shōta Goshozono takes Sunghoo Park’s place as the new director.

The new cast members of the anime includes Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 anime will premiere on July 2023.

Jujutsu Kaisen anime’s 2nd season will have two cours for a constant half-year run. The new anime season will adapt both the “Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu” arc and the “Shibuya Incident” arc.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series composed and delineated by Gege Akutami. The series has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018, with its chapters gathered and distributed in nineteen tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

The story of the Jujutsu Kaisen series follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a mysterious association of Jujutsu Sorcerers to kill a strong Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji turns into the host. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel of Akutami’s Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA from April to July 2017, later gathered in a tankōbon volume, retroactively named as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2018.

Jujutsu Kaisen is authorized for English-language discharge in North America by Viz Media, who has been distributing the manga on paper since December 2019. The Japanese publishing Shueisha distributes the series in English on the Manga Plus web-based stage. Two novels, composed by Ballad Kitaguni, were distributed in May 2019 and January 2020, separately. A 24-episode anime TV series by animation studio MAPPA broadcasted on MBS from October 2020 to March 2021.

The anime is authorized by Crunchyroll for spilling beyond Asia, who debuted the English dubbed version in November 2020. The first soundtrack of the anime was delivered in April 2021.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel anime film premiered on December 24, 2021.
