Izumo Ito resumed The Demon Girl Next Door manga in the March issue of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine following a long two-month break. The Demon Girl Next Door is a manga arrangement made by Izumo Itō, serialized in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat since 2014.

The reason for the postponement was due to Ito’s “Autonomic Imbalance” he wrote on his official Twitter account to thank fans: “From Kirara Carat, which is released today, we are resuming the serialization of the town. Thank you very much!

A TV anime aired in 2019 from July to September, Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime and it was streamed on HIDIVE. the story has been described as:

At some point, Yuko Yoshida awakens with horns and a tail and discovers that she is the relative of a dull faction that was reviled into neediness by the contradicting light group. So as to reestablish her group’s respect, Yuko is entrusted with overcoming the town’s nearby mystical young lady, Momo Chiyoda.”
