No Longer Human is told as scratch pad left by one Ōba Yōzō, an agitated man unequipped for uncovering his actual self to other people, and who are rather compelled to maintain an exterior of empty facetiousness.
The “new science fiction, cyberpunk movie venture” is an adjustment of Osamu Dazai’s No Longer Human novel. Funimation stated the movie will screen in theaters in the United States this fall. The movie is listed with a 2019 worldwide release.
Katsuyuki Motohiro (FLCL Alternative, Psycho-Pass) is filling in as official executive. Fuminori Kizaki (Afro Samurai) will coordinate the film at Polygon Pictures. Tow Ubukata (Fafner, Psycho-Pass 2) is composing the contents. Yūsuke Kozaki (BBK/BRNK, Intrigue in the Bakumatsu – Irohanihoheto) is structuring the characters, and Kenichiro Tomiyasu is accountable for idea craftsmanship. MAGNET and SlowCurve are credited with arranging, and TOHO Visual Entertainment will distribute the movie in Japan.
