Fruits Basket anime‘s official website reported on Friday that the anime will get an compilation film named Fruits Basket – prelude that will open in Japan on February 18.

The film will incorporate the recently reported Kyо̄ko and Katsuya’s Story anime that will fixate on the history of Tohru’s folks Kyо̄ko and Katsuya, which the 2019-2021 series didn’t adjust. The film will likewise incorporate new scenes composed explicitly for the film by Takaya — portraying occasions from after the TV anime’s story.

Fruits Basket Season 3 anime premiered on April 6th, 2021.

Funimation will stream the show’s English-dubbed version.
