Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that the Dr. Stone: Ryusui anime special will air on July 10.

The staff of the anime includes:

  • Shūhei Matsushita as the Director
  • Animation Studio: TMS Entertainment
  • Yuichiro Kido as the Script Supervisor
  • Yuko Iwasa as the Character Designer

The new anime special will be set after the subsequent season, and will focus on Ryusui.

Dr. Stone Season 2 anime debuted on January 14 on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and TV Aichi, and likewise streams on the web.

Crunchyroll streams the arrangement worldwide besides in Asia, and Funimation will stream the dubbed version of the series.

The new cast members include:

  • Kensho Ono as Ukyō Saionji
  • Yoshiki Nakajima as Yō Uei
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Nikki Hanada

Fujifabric is playing out the opening theme song “Rakuen” (Paradise), and Hatena is playing out the ending theme “Koe?” (Voice?).

Dr. Stone: Stone Wars Special Video İs Out On Crunchyroll Now

Dr. Stone Season 1 anime premiered on July 2019 in Japan.

Crunchyroll streamed the anime’s first season as it aired, and also Funimation streamed the anime’s dubbed version.

Dr. Stone manga is being published by Viz Media in digitally and print, and the company portrays the series as following:

“One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!”
