The 26th installment in the Detective Conan series, Detective Conan: Iron Submarine anime film, debuted in Japan on Friday. It sold over 580,000 tickets and made about 850 million yen (about $6.35 million) on its opening day.

Detective Conan: Iron Submarine anime film will open on April 14 in Japan.

The anime has been officially portrayed as following:

“The film’s story takes place on the Hachijō-jima island south of central Tokyo. Many engineers from around the world gather to witness the launch of a new system that connects all law enforcement camera systems around the world and enables facial recognition worldwide. Conan also heads there with an invitation from Sonoko. He receives a message from Subaru Okiya, who says that a Europol agent has been murdered in Germany by the Black Organization’s Gin. Perturbed, Conan tours the new facility, just in time for the Black Organization to kidnap a female engineer, seeking a piece of important data in her USB drive.”

Case Closed: The Bride of Halloween, known as Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween in Japan, is a 2022 Japanese anime mystery movie directed by Susumu Mitsunaka. It is the twenty-fifth portion of the Case Shut film series in view of the manga series of a same name by Gosho Aoyama, following the 2021 film.

The film premiered in Japan on April 15, 2022.

The Japanese detective manga series Detective Conan was created by Gosho Aoyama. Since January 1994, it has been serialized in Shogakukan’s weekly shnen manga publication Weekly Shnen Sunday. As of September 2022, 102 tankbon volumes have been published with the magazine’s chapters. The English language versions from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed due to rights issues with the name Detective Conan. Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who was turned into a child while looking into a strange group, is the main character of the novel. He often solves cases by pretending to be his childhood best friend’s father and other people.
