Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine uncovered on Wednesday that Takahiro Arai will make a big appearance with (Detective Conan: Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story) side project manga arrangement of Gosho Aoyama’s Detective Conan manga in the magazine’s next issue on October 2.

The story will fixate on Tōru Amuro and demonstrate the half-year he spent at the Police Academy. The initial three sections will cover the Matsuda circular segment (Jinpei Matsuda is a character in the Police Academy). Criminologist Conan manga maker Aoyama is drawing the spread.
The primary Detective Conan manga is presently on break. The arrangement entered a rest on September 11, and will return on November 27.
