The official site for Detective Conan: Fist of Blue Sapphire, the 23rd anime movie, uncovered on Monday that the movie has sold 6.51 million tickets and earned a sum of 8.3 billion yen (about US$75.35 million). To praise the achievement, the movie will have “cheering” screenings in 20 theaters in 13 urban communities starting on May 30.

The Fist of Blue Sapphire movie likewise appeared at #1 at the Japanese movie industry for the few days of April 13-14.
