This Spring marks the return of Demon Slayer Season 3, and the most recent episode of the anime launched the main battle while also showcasing Genya Shinazugawa’s use of a special weapon that sets him apart from the other Demon Slayers.

The lineup of combatants has substantially changed from the prior two seasons as Demon Slayer Season 3 tackles the Swordsmith hamlet Arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s original Demon Slayer manga because Tanjiro Kamado has traveled to the covert sword smithing hamlet to get his sword mended. This new roster is currently being tested.

The first several episodes of Demon Slayer Season 3 established Tanjiro’s most recent status quo while also reintroducing some important characters to the anime. This also involved Genya Shinazugawa, who Tanjiro hadn’t seen since the show’s debut season. In Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc episode 3, they engage in a brand-new battle with one of Muzan Kibutsuji’s Upper Ranks members. Here, Genya demonstrates how his style of combat with others changes when he draws a gun.

The opening theme Kizuna no Kisekiโ€ (Bonds of Miracle) is performed by MAN WITH A MISSION and milet.

The anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
