The key battles for the Swordsmith Village have begun in Demon Slayer Season 3, and the cliffhanger from the most recent episode has set up the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, for his most ultimate in the anime.
Following Gyutaro’s defeat in Demon Slayer Season 2, Muzan Kibutsuji’s Upper Ranks have added two new characters to the anime as part of the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc. However, this season has also seen a greater presence of the Hashira among the Demon Slayers.
Through the first several episodes of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc, Muichiro has revealed a completely new side to himself. The recent episodes have shown a clear shift in his mentality as he is now fighting to protect Kotetsu rather than obeying his initial instincts and protecting the village chief instead. At first, he seemed cold and disconnected in comparison to the rest of the Hashira line up we have met in the Demon Slayer anime so far. However, as of the most recent Demon Slayer episode, it’s preparing him for an incredibly terrible new battle.
