Demon Slayer anime‘s official Twitter account reported on Monday that the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train anime movie has sold a sum of 17,505,285 tickets for a combined acquiring of 23,349,291,050 yen (around US$223 million) as of the last Sunday, November 15, for only 1 month in Japan.

The new Demon Slayer was the 7th highest film worldwide in 2020, when Japan’s film industry aggregates are joined with Taiwan’s.

The film opened in Japan on October 16.

Theatergoers received a Rengoku Volume 0 manga volume, which is limited to 4.5 million duplicates. The manga is drawn by the creator of the Demon Slayer manga, Koyoharu Gotouge and the story shows the first mission of Rengoku.

The anime film is listed with 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film adapts the Mugen Train arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s unique manga arrangement, this film includes an appearance from the fan-most loved Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series aired in Japan from April to September 2019.
