Funimation, the American streaming giant uncovered on Wednesday that Demon Slayer: Mugen Train anime film has acquired US$40,004,952 at the North American film industry as of Tuesday.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie positioned #2 in its third end of the week in the United States, acquiring an expected US$3.05 million over the course of the weekend with a US$1,462 per-screen normal in 2,088 theaters. The film had acquired an expected total absolute of US$37,172,276 in the United States as of Sunday.

The film was the most noteworthy acquiring film worldwide in 2020, procuring US$474.6 million.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie premiered on October 16, 2020 in Japan.

Theatergoers received a Rengoku Volume 0 manga volume, which is limited to 4.5 million duplicates. The manga is drawn by the creator of the Demon Slayer manga, Koyoharu Gotouge and the story shows the first mission of Rengoku.

The anime film is listed with 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film adapts the Mugen Train arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s unique manga arrangement, this film includes an appearance from the fan-most loved Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series aired in Japan from April to September 2019.
