Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film’s cast reported on Saturday that the anime film has sold more than 10 million tickets in the 16 days since it opened on October 16.

The film’s main cast Natsuki Hanae, Satoshi Hino, and Akira Ishida made the declaration during a phase welcoming appearance at a screening at Tokyo’s TOHO CINEMAS Hibiya theater.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film earned 10,754,232,550 yen (about US$102.52 million) in its initial 10 days in the box office.

The film broke another record in Japan for the quickest film to win 10 billion yen, destroying Spirited Away.

The film opened in Japan on October 16.

Theatergoers received a Rengoku Volume 0 manga volume, which is limited to 4.5 million duplicates. The manga is drawn by the creator of the Demon Slayer manga, Koyoharu Gotouge and the story shows the first mission of Rengoku.

The anime film is listed with 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film adapts the Mugen Train arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s unique manga arrangement, this film includes an appearance from the fan-most loved Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
