Demon Slayer Characters On Animedia

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series has been the one of the biggest hits the last year with a huge success in manga sales and its anime adaptation. One of the main factors of the series to be successful on that level is the characters the series contain and of course this opens the door of the anime‘s characters to get some great awards.

The February issue of the magazine that holds awards for anime characters that were chosen by readers Animedia 2020 issue uncovers the after effects of the 2019 honors: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba got 11 honors between seven characters, making it the greatest champ in the yearly honors.

Tanjiro Kamado got officially the rank of MVP, you can check out the characters and awards they received below:

  • Tanjiro Kamado:  “Bright” and “Courageous.”
  • Giyū Tomioka: “Strong”, “Cool”, “Mysterious”
  • Kyōjurō Rengoku: “Hot”
  • Nezuko Kamado: “Cute”
  • Shinobu Kocho: “Beautiful”
  • Mitsuri Kanroji: “Sexy”
  • Zenitsu Agatsuma: “Cute and bratty”

The famous voice actor Natsuki Hanae that performs for the series’ main protagonist Tanjiro Kamado commented on the results as record-breaking performance is an indication of how many charismatic characters it has. About Nezuko winning the ”Cute” award he said it is well deserved. While he received a question on what scene makes Tanjiro the actual MVP he said:

“Everything, but if I had to narrow it down to one thing, I guess I’d pick episode 19.”

In the future, he would like to see Tanjirō win the “Kind” and “Diligent” awards.

The anime arrangement debuted on April 6, and Aniplex of America has authorized the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. The show is spilling on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNOW. The English dub airs on Adult Swim‘s Toonami block. The anime‘s last episode which is the 26th one has aired on 09/28/2019.

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga arrangement composed and outlined by Koyoharu Gotōge. The story pursues Tanjirō Kamado, a little youngster who turns into demon slayer after his whole family was butchered by a devil, with the exception of his younger sibling Nezuko, who was transformed into an demon also, vowing to figure out how to make her human once more. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2016, with its parts gathered in 17 tankōbon volumes as of October 2019. The arrangement is distributed in English by Viz Media and simulpublished by Shueisha in English and Spanish on their Manga Plus stage.

An anime TV arrangement adjustment by Ufotable circulated from April 6 to September 28, 2019. Quickly following the airing of episode 26 of the anime arrangement, a spin-off film was declared and is planned to debut in 2020.

The anime arrangement won a few honors at the 2019 Newtype Anime Awards, including best TV anime. As of December 2019, the manga had more than 25 million duplicates in print.
