The American streaming giant Netflix has unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series on Monday.

The game developer CD PROJEKT RED unveiled the Japanese cast which include:

- Aoi Yūki as Lucy
- Hiroki Touchi as Maine
- Michiko Kaiden as Dorio
- Takako Honda as Kiwi
- Wataru Takagi as Pilar
- Tomoyo Kurosawa as Rebecca
- Kazuhiko Inoue as Faraday
- Yurika Hino as as Gloria
- Kenjiro Tsuda as Ripperdoc
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime is set to premiere on September.
The anime’s staff includes:
- Hiroyuki Imaishi as the Director
- Animation Studio: Trigger
- Yoh Yoshinari as Character Designer, Animation Director
- Hiromi Wakabayashi as the Creative Director
- Masahiko Otsuka, Yoshiki Usa as the Scriptwriters
- Hiroyuki Kaneko as the Assistant Director
- Yūto Kaneko and Yusuke Yoshigaki as Assistant Character Designers
- Akira Yamaoka as the Music Composer
The anime has been described by the company:
”Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner—a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.”
The original Cyberpunk 2077 game has been described:
”Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”
