Given is probably the best anime released in 2019, after season 4 of My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, and the reboot of Fruits Basket. The characters Mafuyu Sato and Ritsuka Uenoyama from Given were even assigned for 2020 Best Couple by Crunchyroll, and if that doesn’t tell to you something, I don’t know what will. Given season 1 anime was released on July 12th, 2019, and reached an end on September 20th, 2019.
This film is a sequel to the popular anime following the band “Given” as they navigate new adventures in romance and music. Today Crunchyroll officially announced that they will stream the Given film under the title “Given The Movie” early in 2021 worldwide (outside of Asia), you can check out the official trailer and the main visual for the movie down below:

Crunchyroll describes the story as – High school student Ritsuka Uenoyama is shocked when he hears Mafuyu Sato’s singing voice. He and his other band mates, Haruki Nakayama and Akihiko Kaji, then welcome him into their band as a vocalist. After Mafuyu joins, their first live performance is a huge success, and they make their official debut as the band “Given.” In the midst of all this, Ritsuka realizes that he has feelings for Mafuyu and they start seeing each other. Meanwhile, Haruki secretly has had feelings for Akihiko for years, but Akihiko was still in a relationship with his roommate, the violinist Ugetsu Murata. Haruki, Akihiko, and Ugetsu’s love clashes on the big screen and starts to move forward.
