The famous Japanese anime writer Dai Sato revealed on his official Facebook page that writer Keiko Nobumoto passed away on December 1 after a battle with esophageal cancer at the age of 57.
Keiko Nobumoto was well-known for writing the screenplay for Cowboy Bebop and created Wolf’s Rain.
Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese sci-fi neo-noir anime TV series animated by Sunrise, driven by a creation group of chief Shinichirō Watanabe, screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character creator Toshihiro Kawamoto, mechanical originator Kimitoshi Yamane, and author Yoko Kanno, who are on the whole charged as Hajime Yatate. The series, which ran for 26 scenes, is set in the year 2071, and follows the existences of a voyaging abundance hunting group on board a spaceship, the Bebop. Despite the fact that it consolidates a wide assortment of types, the series draws most intensely from sci-fi, western, and noir films. Its most unmistakable subjects are existential boredom, depression, and the powerlessness to get away from before.
