Classroom of the Elite New Season

A recently held livestream for the Classroom of the Elite anime released a trailer and brand new visual on Sunday.

The new trailer uncovers that the declared continuation is really two additional seasons that will air in July 2022 and at some point in 2023 with the bringing cast back. The cast added that the anime will adjust the first story’s finished first-year-student story arc.

The anime’s staff includes:
  • Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto are chief directors
  • Yoshihito Nishōji is the credited director
  • Animation Studio: Lerche
  • Hayato Kazano is the script supervisor
  • Kazuaki Morita as the character designer
  • Ryō Takahashi with Kana Hashiguchi as the music composer
  • Satoki Iida is directing the sound

The anime’s first season by Lerche circulated from July to September 2017.

Classroom of the Elite is a Japanese light original series composed by Shōgo Kinugasa and showed by Shunsaku Tomose. A manga transformation by Yuyu Ichino started its serialization in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive on January 27, 2016.

The anime’s story goes as following:

“In the far off future, the Japanese government has laid out the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School, devoted to train and cultivate the age of individuals that will uphold the country later on. The understudies are given a serious level of opportunity to intently mirror reality.

The story follows the viewpoint of Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, a peaceful and unassuming kid who isn’t great at making companions and would prefer to stay away, however has unparalleled insight. He is an understudy of Class-D, which is the place where the school dumps its substandard understudies.
