The official site for City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes, the new anime movie adjustment of Tsukasa Hojo‘s City Hunter manga, uncovered on Monday that the film has sold 1,058,102 tickets to procure 1,502,665,440 yen (about US$13.4 million) as of Sunday.
The movie opened in Japan on February 8 of every 251 theaters. The movie sold 180,000 tickets to acquire 257 million yen (about US$2.32 million) and rank #4 in its opening end of the week. The motion picture at that point started facilitating 4DX screenings in Japan on March 1.
