Chris Ayres was born in Richmond, Virginia, on May 16, 1965.

He worked on voice acting and ADR coordinating on various English dubs of Japanese anime at Funimation, OkraTron 5000, New Generation Pictures and Seraphim Digital/Sentai Filmworks.

He began his acting profession at age six and has performed on Broadway and Off-Broadway just as in various territorial productions.
