TOHO released a teaser trailer for Studio 4°C’s anime film adjustment of Daisuke Igarashi‘s Children of the Sea (Kaijū no Kodomo) manga on Wednesday. The video reviews music from the film’s author Joe Hisaishi, of Studio Ghibli acclaim.

The young performer Mana Ashida, who has showed up in numerous motion pictures, TV arrangement, and advertisements in spite of her young age of 14, has been given a role as the voice of courageous woman Ruka. Umi (which signifies ‘ocean’) is voiced by Hiiro Ishibashi, who additionally voiced the fundamental character Miguel in Disney’s Remember Me in the Japanese name.
