Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King will hold a special early premiere for the film for a small group of fans overseas as the anime prepares for a significant comeback later this summer with the release of the first feature film in the franchise.
For a small group of dedicated fans, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King will debut even sooner on May 28 in Japan, where the Black Clover film will also have a special early screening.
With a few cast members attending the premiere, 200 lucky fans will be able to go after winning a lottery. Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King will launch on streaming shortly after this early screening, which is unfortunate for fans outside of Japan who might not be able to attend.
Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film will premiere on June 16, 2023.

- Houchu Ohtsuka will play Edward

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series created by the famous Yūki Tabata. Black Clover has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters gathered in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.
In North America, the manga is authorized for English delivery by Viz Media, while the anime series is authorized by Crunchyroll and Funimation.

The story bases on Asta, a little fellow apparently conceived with no sorcery power, something that is obscure on the planet he lives in. With his individual mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to turn into the following Wizard King.
