The most recent chapter of the Black Clover manga has set up Mereoleona Vermillion’s ultimate onslaught with its significant cliffhanger as Black Clover is currently fighting its way through the final battle for the fate of the Clover Kingdom.
As Lucius Zogratis advances on the Clover Kingdom with his army of angels, the concluding chapter of Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga is currently in full swing. The Judgment Day war’s earlier chapters have demonstrated the difficulty each Magic Knight has had facing Lucius’ armies, and they have even given the Captains a run for their money.
The Magic Knights had already suffered numerous severe injuries as a result of Judgment Day, and the last chapter even saw the death of a significant Magic Knight Captain. The cliffhanger from Black Clover’s most recent chapter shows Mereoleona preparing for a final attack on the Paladin Moris that might end up costing her life as she burns away her body for more strength. It appears like the next significant captain might be the one to perish next.
Mereoleona’s battle with Moris begins in Black Clover Chapter 358, and her Hellfire Incarnate form is the only thing keeping up with Moris’ power. Moris explains that he can destroy whatever he touches with his Paladin strength, including the Mana Zone that Yuno stretched over the entire country to give the knights the capacity to defend themselves. Mereoleona can therefore assault Moris, but the more touch she makes with him, the more damage her body takes.
In an effort to buy Mereoleona more time to fight back, her squad mates eventually turn to taking Moris’ blows and giving their own lives in the hope that her firepower will burn up Moris more quickly than he can regenerate. Her flames get hotter as she fights, reaching a peak assault called Calidos Brachium Purgatory: Flame Burial that covers her body in the hottest flame yet. If it defeats Moris, she will do it regardless of the cost to her life.
