The cliffhanger from the most recent Black Clover chapter is preparing Asta for his biggest battle yet because he will be facing the brainwashed Sister Lily Paladin.

Black Clover officially concludes Asta’s final training arc with the first real test of his new talent. Asta’s worst run of defeats yet marked the beginning of the manga series’ last arc, written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. In addition to losing to Lucius Zogratis in their initial encounter at the start of the story arc, Sister Lily was captured and fully subjugated by Lucius’ strength.

Asta was able to receive just a little bit of extra time to perfect the Zetten technique before being transported to the Land of the Sun and swiftly on a path to new power. However, when the indoctrinated Sister Lily was one of the Paladins sent to the country to wipe it out before Lucius makes his real move, things swiftly took a turn for the worse. The Ryuzen Seven battled Sister Lily and the others in earlier chapters; now it’s Asta’s chance to do the same.

Black Clover manga’s most recent chapter which is the 348th one notices Asta leaping back into the midst of the conflict now that he has mastered Zetten, the new ability he had been honing in the Land of the Sun. It turns out that he has honed his anti-magic technique to the point where Asta can use it to entirely nullify a spell. Before immediately confronting Sister Lily in the chapter’s conclusion, he vanquishes Ichika and the first Paladin.

There is a strong probability that Asta will be able to save Sister Lily using his new technique, since he promises to save her. It was discovered that his Zetten completely cuts through magic, and this might be the only method to break the magic that is now brainwashing Lily.
