The April issue of Shogakukan’s Betsucomi magazine uncovered on Wednesday that Kanoko Sakurakoji will pen another one-shot section for the Black Bird manga in the magazine’s next issue in April. The manga will have a shading opening page and will highlight on the issue’s intro page.
Viz Media distributed all volumes of the manga in North America, and it portrays the story:

There is a world of myth and magic that intersects ours, and only a special few can see it. Misao Harada is one such person, and she wants nothing to do with magical realms. She just wants to have a normal high school life and maybe get a boyfriend.
All that changes one day when Misao is attacked by a demon. Her childhood friend Kyo suddenly returns to save her and tend to her cuts – with his tongue! It turns out Misao is the bride of prophecy, whose blood gives power to the demon clan who claims her. But most demons want to keep her power for themselves – by eating her! Now Misao is just trying to stay alive… and decide if she likes it when Kyo licks her wounds.
Sakurakoji released the manga in Betsucomi in 2007 and finished it in December 2012 with 12 volumes. The manga is rousing a phase play adjustment that will keep running at the Ginza Hakuhinkan Theater in Tokyo from March 27 to 31.
Viz Media likewise distributed Sakurakoji’s two-volume Backstage Prince manga in North America.
