Baki Hanma franchise recently unveiled that a new anime has been officially confirmed that will adapt the Baki Dou arc.

The Baki Dou arc depicts the battle with the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, who is resurrected through cloning technology and spiritualism.

Baki Hanma season 2 anime’s 1st part premiered with the “Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga” story on July 26, and is followed by the “The Father VS Son Saga” story which premiered on August 24.

The cast for the 2nd season includes:

  • Takeshi Kusao as Pickle
  • Nobuo Tobita as Dr. Albert Payne

Baki Hanma season 2 anime unveiled a new key visual.

Wagakki Band will perform the opening theme song “The Beast.” UPSTART will perform the ending theme song “WILDER.” 

Baki Hanma anime debuted on Netflix in September 2021.

Baki Hanma is a continuation of the new Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen series.

The series has been officially portrayed by Netflix as following:

“The story finally unfolds into a full-blooded clash between Baki Hanma and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the “strongest creature on earth.” The climax of the Baki universe, which depicted the “strongest parent-child brawl in history of the world” in the original manga, has been adapted into the long-awaited anime!”

Grappler Baki, known as Baki the Grappler in North America, is a manga arrangement composed and outlined by Keisuke Itagaki. It was initially serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion from 1991 to 1999 and gathered into 42 tankōbon volumes by Akita Shoten. A 24-episode anime broadcasted on TV Tokyo between January 8 and June 25, 2001, and was immediately trailed by a second 24-episodes arrangement from July 22 to December 24, 2001. An ONA was delivered on Netflix between June 25 and September 24, 2018, trailed by a second season that was delivered on June 4, 2020.
