Attack on Titan‘s anime adaptation is prepared to conclude where the finale is also soon to begin, and the creator Hajime Isayama is having a hectic year.

Fans are speculating as to whether the creator would pick up the pen once more given that he laid out the series ending years ago. Although a spin-off is unlikely, it appears Isayama has a concept for a story he’d want to develop.

Isayama recently admitted to the streaming giant Crunchyroll that he has a tale idea for Levi Ackerman, but it is unclear whether he would actually write it.

He said the following:

“Regarding Levi, I actually have something in my mind, but at the same time, I don’t know if I will be able to write that or not. For example, I have imagined what the story of Levi would be in my mind, but at the same time, whether I am able to output it, that’s a whole other story because writing a manga is a really difficult task for me,”
