Alita: Battle Angel is one of the best live-action anime adaptations, and fans have been waiting for news about a potential sequel since the film’s initial theatrical run. While the creators of the original film have hinted that a sequel may be in the works, cosplayers are taking matters into their own hands and depicting the robot-fighting heroine long before a sequel arrives.

Even though there is no confirmation regarding an Alita: Battle Angel 2, the director of the first film, Robert Rodriguez, acknowledged this week that there have been discussions about returning to this planet.
